Annual event 2023 of the Green Finance Alliance   In-depth content and a new member

The annual event on 3 May 2023 was themed "Green Finance as a Driver for Sustainable Change". There was a review of the progress made in the first year of the initiative, an outlook on the topic of biodiversity and the admission of the newest member.

The Green Finance Alliance is a sustainable partnership between the state and the financial sector. Membership in the Green Finance Alliance means phasing out climate-damaging activities step by step on the basis of the catalogue of criteria and steering capital flows in a sustainable direction.

Raiffeisen Landesbank Vorarlberg was accepted as a new member of Green Finance. It thus stands for more investments in climate-friendly activities in the westernmost federal state. The Green Finance Alliance now comprises ten financial companies with a combined balance sheet total of more than 190 billion euros and around 23,000 employees, who act as ambassadors for more climate protection in the financial sector.
